Fuzzi Bunz Nappies employs a unique, patented diapering system- it’s a pocket diaper! No, it’s not a diaper you can carry around stuffed in a pocket, but rather a nappy with an inbuilt ‘pocket’. This pocket is made of a microfleece that allows moisture to pass through. A wad of absorbent material called the ‘stuffer’ is placed within the pocket to absorb all the moisture content and prevent any leaks.

This is convenient in a diaper, as you can increase or decrease the amount of absorbent material as required. Nappies need to be bulked up at night when there is usually a heavy flow, and can be reduced a bit during the day to avoid baby waddling from having to carry too much in nappy weight.

Fuzzi Bunz is a Cloth diaper but cannot be called a cotton diaper, because while the diaper is made of soft polyester, it is the super absorbent stuffer that can be cotton or terry or hemp. If in a hurry, you can stuff any material that absorbs into the nappy, as the microfleece lining on the pocket protects baby’s delicate skin.

These diapers may seem to be a bit hard to wash at first, but by removing the stuffer and washing the pocket diaper separately, washing becomes easier and also drys faster.
